Vittoria Flywheel Manual Meat Slicer ~ $9,000 OBO
What can we say about this: It's a work of art. It's from Italy, but made like a Swiss watch, with every component clicking and fitting into place exactly as it should. It's the Ferrari of meat slicers. There are 9 thickness settings for slicing meats & cheeses. The company Vittoria manufactures bike de-railers, and at some point, they ventured into making meat slicers, however, we have yet to find the equal to this one online. This model has a 14-1/2" blade, crucial for slicing prosciutto and other large cuts, whereas 12" is more common. The compartment above the blade houses the sharpening stones, which pivot into place when the blade needs to be sharpened, and then you simply turn the wheel. 25"D x 33"W x 55"H
A comparable style slicer with a 14" blade by the brand Globe is for sale on Webstaurant Store for over $12,000 plus an additional $3,000 for the stand for a total of $15,000.
We have really enjoyed having this piece of equipment. We have thought about taking this with us and may if we can't find a buyer. We feel we have priced this appropriately and to sell, but are open to negotiating. Serious inquiries only please.
